BAY WINDOWS: What she said

Letters to the Editor | August 20, 2008

I was pleased to read your recent article on Ms Sonia Chang-Diaz. I’ve heard and seen a lot of strength from Senator Wilkerson, but I keep getting disappointed with Sen. Wilkerson’s repeated campaign finance violations and ethical problems. It is important to me that my elected officials demonstrate a strong commitment to ethics and accountable government. (IE; making sure that public dollars are spent wisely and effectively, rather than on corporate subsidies like Columbus Center; which is a major eye sore.) I want to vote for a candidate I feel proud of. I believe Ms Chang- Diaz can make a difference on our community, education and in addition to her strong history of advocating for the LGBT community. (She worked as former state Sen. Cheryl Jacques’ go-to for civil rights issues.)
Great article on a strong candidate.
